EXPERIENCE
It’s important to us that our clients and candidates deal with people who are experienced – we only bring people into our team who we feel will genuinely add value – they know the market/industry groups inside out
RELATIONSHIPS
We do our best for both sides in the recruitment relationship – the hiring manager and the potential candidate. We think that they both deserve an equal level of respect, counsel, and representation.
QUALITY
We believe delivering a quality service is essential. It is our aim to establish win:win employment relationships.
Please pass on our immense gratitude. You & your team have been incredible partners to us

When we first got Capital Recruitment involved Peter took the time to meet with me face-to-face to understand our business, the type of person we needed and also what I and my team are like, I thought this was a really thorough approach. He then handed over to Elzarie to manage the recruitment search and selection. Elzarie was really good to deal with; pro-active, friendly and she kept in regular communication with progress updates which was great. She took the time to select quality candidates rather than sending a lot of average candidates and was very honest and open with her own thoughts when discussing candidate suitability. She was also a huge help in carrying out referee checks etc. and keeping in touch regularly even after we had signed up candidates, to ensure that their immigration process was on track and that once they arrived they were settling in well. Capital Recruitment provided a very thorough end-to-end service and have been great to work with. I would definitely use them again.

I’ve been contracting for nine years now and I love working with Capital – they’re great at matching my skill set to opportunities (I always have my contracts extended by the client), and their work is strongly relationship-based; they stay genuinely interested and engaged with me throughout the life of the contract and I never feel like they’re simply chasing targets.

I approached Capital recruitment following relocation from Europe. Caroline and Peter were proactive in engaging with me early on, held face-to-face meetings to get a sense of me as a professional and a person.
The roles they recommended were tailored to my skills and experiences. Throughout the recruitment process they guided me and provided well thought out advice. They were candid and I always got the sense they had my interests in mind. In all I felt in good hands throughout.

Recruitment Strategy Mistakes: Not treating great applicants like great customers. Failing to understand the cost/benefit of a new employee before you hire. Failing to plan your recruitment strategy & implement. Hiring a full-time employee when you only need a contractor. Not listening to your inner voice when recruiting that says “not sure” or “no”.
July 30, 2020References
Usually we do references when there is 1 preferred candidate for a role. Recently we have seen several recruitment processes where the client is down to 2 preferred candidates & want to do references on both. References are part of the probity process. They should verify: Where the candidate worked Attendance record Personality & cultural

Am I off track? Lately I have come across a number of people who are stressed about work or life situations & I think to myself – wtf? Seems to me that lots of people don’t see the big picture or the right time scale in their lives. They are worried about small things, first
